Five reasons outsourcing your newsletter is a smart move for HR leaders

In last week’s blog, I outlined five reasons newsletters area great way to retain, motivate, and engage employees. This week I want to look at why bringing in specialists (cough, cough) to produce your organization’s newsletter is both cost-effective and creates a better product.  

Bringing in an outsider with a “fresh set of eyes” is essential. They can work with your senior leadership to produce a communications strategy that supports the strategic plan, frankly assess the state of your workplace, free of bias, and bring curiosity and creativity in ferreting out compelling stories.

First, the most powerful thing about bringing in an outside consultant is they become a trusted confidant to senior leaders.

They can freely share their concerns about the organization without worrying about internal politics. The consultant can offer objective feedback and propose constructive communications tactics to support them.
